Hi, I'm Zoe.

I'm an artist based in Birmingham, UK with a love for colour, expressive faces, strange characters and making work that sits somewhere between playful and emotional.

My paintings often begin without a plan. I enjoy following my intuition, allowing shapes, faces and stories to emerge naturally as I work. Whether it's a large canvas, a sketchbook drawing or an oil pastel piece, I'm most interested in creating art that feels alive, honest and a little bit weird!

Art has always been a way for me to make sense of the world, and I hope my work encourages people to stop, feel something and have a little laugh at how ridiculous it all is.
